VIDEO: Sen. Daily Throws Her Support to Ferry Service

Concerns were raised about more than just rallying to save the ferries.

State Sen. Eileen Daily (D-Westbrook) made an appearance at the Hadlyme Hall Save the Ferry meeting on Sunday night to support a grassroots efforts there to save the historic Hadlyme-Chester and Rocky Hill-Glastonbury ferry services across the Connecticut River.

In addition to offering her support of efforts to save the ferries, Daily urged state workers who are at risk of losing their jobs to contact their union leaders, saying they are the ones who need to answer for such cuts in Gov. Malloy's new budget plan.
