VIDEO: Singing to Save the Ferries
Serious conversation turned to song as concerned citizens rallied.
Town and state officials met with concerned citizens to determine the next steps in the fight to save the Hadlyme-Chester and Rocky Hill-Glastonbury ferries Sunday evening at the Hadlyme Hall.
Edward Chiucarello of Rocky Hill, fondly referred to as "the nitpicker," rallied the crowd into a ferry song he wrote in honor of the Rocky Hill-Glastonbury ferry. Chiucarello promised to include the Hadlyme-Chester in future renditions of the song.
Full story on the meeting to follow.
