WATCH: Great Horned Owl Released Into the Wild

This Great Horned Owl returned to Freedom this afternoon after recovering from a leg injury caused by a net entanglement. He is so fortunate he survived his ordeal. Many do not make it as the damage done to the extremities can be quite severe as the animal struggles to free itself. A special thanks to the Animal Control Officers from the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter in Branford who cut him free and contacted A Place Called Hope for his rehabilitation.
