What Would Bruce Lee Do?

Find out in a Monday Jeet Kune Do class at Green Hill Martial Arts Studio.

 

Admit it. Deep down we’ve all secretly pictured ourselves as martial arts masters, a la Bruce Lee.

On Monday nights, Green Hill Martial Arts Studio offers you the chance to learn Jeet Kune Do, Bruce Lee's "Way of the Intercepting Fist." The class is held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at 149 Green Hill Road in Killingworth.

Try the first class free. After that, the drop-in fee is $15 per class. The monthly fee is $50.

This martial art mixes Chinese Wing Chung Kung Fu with Western boxing and fencing. (No, you won’t be using swords.)

The class, for men and women aged 14 and up, is taught by Sean Gallimore. He is has been teaching and practicing martial arts for more than 30 years and is also a filmmaker and movie fight coordinator.
