Woman Awarded $236,000 for Car Crash Three Years Ago in Haddam
The plaintiff suffered neck and back injuries after her car was hit from behind three years prior.

NEW LONDON, CT – A city woman who suffered injuries in a car accident three years ago was awarded more than $200,000 by a jury Friday, The Day reported.
The plaintiff, 27-year old Kyttian Chacon, suffered neck and back injuries after her car was hit from behind, according to The Day. The incident occurred three years ago on Route 9 in Haddam.
Chacon was awarded $236,000 in New London Superior Court after incurring about $46,000 in medical expenses from the incident, The Day reported. The jury was asked by Chacon’s attorney to award her $190,000 for the expenses plus pain and suffering.
