Woman Threatened Suicide in Devil's Hopyard State Park

On Friday, the State Police and the DEEP responded to a 911 call from a Baltic woman threatening to kill herself in the Hopyard.

 

The CT State Police received a 911 call on Friday at 1:39 p.m. from a female caller who was threatening to go to Devil’s Hopyard State Park and kill herself, according to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP).

Both the DEEP and the State Police responded to the call and began a search of the Hopyard.

The woman was found unharmed at 2:59 p.m. and taken to Backus Hospital. She is reported to be 29-years old and from Baltic, CT.
