1 Dead in Fatal Lyme Crash, Road Closed for Several Hours: Police
State police are investigating a fatal one-car crash that occurred in Lyme.
LYME, CT - Route 156 reopened Wednesday evening after a fatal one-car crash earlier that afternoon, the New London Day reported.
Fire officials said the crash occurred in the vicinity of Lord Hill Lane, which was subsequently closed for several hours, according to the New London Day. The driver of the car, reported to be a resident of the area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no passengers in the car at the time of the crash, the New London Day reported. State police are still investigating the situation.
