2 Charged With Drug-Dealing In East Lyme: Police
Two people are facing numerous charges after police say they found them with fentanyl, cocaine, and psilocybin 'mushroom.'
EAST LYME, CT — Two people are facing drug-dealing charges following an arrest at a Niantic hotel, according to police.
A police officer spotted a vehicle with a temporary Maryland paper tag pulling into a hotel parking lot on Flanders Road on Friday at 3:22 p.m. The officer ran a query on the temporary tag and found no record.
The officer stopped the vehicle as it was leaving the hotel. In an investigation, police found fentanyl, cocaine, and psilocybin "mushrooms" all packaged for sale, along with drug paraphernalia including baggies and scales.

Police seized the drugs and $1,000 in cash.
Tamia Colon, 18, of Norwich, was charged with use of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession with intent to sell narcotics, operation of a drug factory, and other drug-related charges.

She also had two warrants out for her arrest for second-degree failure to appear in court and failure to respond to an infraction. She was released on a combined $10,050 cash/surety bond and scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on March 8.
Jsiah Munir, 20, of New London, was also charged with use of drug paraphernalia, two counts of possession with intent to sell narcotics, operation of a drug factory, and other drug-related charges. He was released on $5,000 bond and scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on March 8.
