2 Charged In East Lyme Assault: Police
Two people have been charged in connection with an assault at an East Lyme home in June.
EAST LYME, CT — An East Lyme man was charged with assaulting a victim with a baseball bat in June, according to police. Michael Rogers, 60, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree assault.
Police said Rogers turned himself in on an active arrest warrant Wednesday. The attack, which occurred at an Oakwood Road home, caused "minor physical injury to the victim," according to police.
Rogers was released on $20,000 bond and will appear in New London Superior Court Aug. 26.

A second person, Jennifer Rogers, 36, of East Lyme, was also charged in connection with the incident.
Jennifer Rogers was charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault. She was released on $5,000 bond.
