2 Charged With Robbing Victim At Knifepoint In East Lyme: Police

A pair is accused of luring a victim with sexual favors then robbing them at knifepoint, according to police.

EAST LYME, CT — Two people are accused of robbing a person at knifepoint, according to police. The victim told police that Maria Paige, 32, of East Lyme, and Kyle Trakas, 29, of Norwich, lured them to a residence with "the promise of sexual favors, but instead robbed the victim at knifepoint," according to an arrest report.

Paige was arrested on a warrant Saturday and charged with first-degree robbery, false statement, conspiracy, second-degree threatening, second-degree reckless endangerment, soliciting sexual acts, and first-degree unlawful restraint. She was held on $50,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on Monday.

Trakas was arrested Saturday and charged with two counts of first-degree robbery, second-degree threatening, second-degree reckless endangerment, and first-degree unlawful restraint. He was released on $50,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on Monday.
