EAST LYME, CT — Two juveniles were arrested in connection with an arson incident last month, according to police.
Police and firefighters responded to a building on the Boston Post Road in East Lyme for a fire alarm and sprinkler activation April 20 at about 4 p.m.
Crews found that the sprinkler had activated and areas of burnt siding were evident on the building’s exterior. An external sprinkler head had charred residue "consistent with an ignition source being applied directly to it," according to police.
