3 Charged In Brazen Theft At East Lyme Grocery Store

The group is accused of stealing $4,000 worth of items from a Stop & Shop.

EAST LYME, CT — Three people have been charged in the theft of $4,000 worth of meat, seafood, and laundry detergent from an East Lyme grocery store in November, according to The New London Day. The group reportedly left the Stop & Shop at 248 Flanders Road with shopping carts full of items.

They then loaded the items into two vehicles parked outside the store and fled, striking several shopping carts on their way out, The New London Day reported.

James H. Hill, 44, Nasif A. Muhammad, 51, and Brandy Quadrato, 36, all face charges of third-degree larceny and organized retail theft.
