After 6 Years in Town, Resident State Trooper Will Soon Leave Old Lyme

He recently announced that he plans to return to Troop F in Westbrook as a patrol trooper.

OLD LYME, CT - An Old Lyme resident state trooper will leave after being with the town for six years, The Day reported.

Trooper First Class Gary Inglis has been the town's resident state trooper since 2011, according to The Day. He recently announced that he plans to return to Troop F in Westbrook as a patrol trooper.

Inglis has served as a state trooper for 20 years and is eligible for retirement next month, The Day reported. He will remain with the town until a new resident state trooper is found.
