Calling all artists: The Lyme Art Association (LAA) is accepting art entries for New England Landscape and Bon Appetit. Both are on view from September 18 - November 6 in LAA's galleries. Paintings, Drawings, Hand-pulled prints, and Sculpture of all media are welcome.

Artists do not need to be Connecticut residents to enter the shows, and all Lyme Art Association Member Artists are welcome to enter their artwork.

About the show themes:

New England Landscape Show:LAA is proud to present New England Landscape. This annual exhibition celebrates the rich and varied landscape of the East Coast, where nature's artistry unfolds in
breathtaking beauty. Artists are encouraged to explore their connection to the land that surrounds them. Artwork should focus on mostly terrestrial compositions rather than aquatic scenes.

Bon Appetit Show: This exhibition is meant to tantalize both visual and culinary senses. LAA invites artists to indulge in the delectable world of food through art making. From still life masterpieces featuring sumptuous fruit bowls to vivid depictions of bustling farmers' markets, Bon Appétit promises to be a feast for the eyes.

LAA is currently accepting art submissions. Deadline to apply is Friday, Friday, August 21 by Midnight.

About the Lyme Art Association: Founded in 1914 by the American Impressionists, the Lyme Art Association continues the tradition of exhibiting and selling representational artwork, as well as offering art instruction, lectures, and other community programs. It is located in Old Lyme, CT, in an iconic 1921 building designed by renowned arc hitect Charles Adams Platt and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Admission is free.
