Armed Car Theft While Passenger Inside In East Lyme: Report
The incident occurred Saturday evening, according to police.

EAST LYME, CT — A couple brandished a knife and stole a car from an East Lyme gas station Saturday evening while a passenger was inside, reports Fox 61. No injuries were reported.
The incident occurred at about 6 p.m. at the Niantic Star Gas Station on Flanders Road, as the car's owner was pumping gas, according to police.
A man and woman climbed into the car, threatened the passenger with a knife and drove off with the vehicle on Route 161 (Flanders Road). The passenger was able to get out of the vehicle a short distance down the road.
