Basic photography classes with Steve Nadler, 2 sessions available daytime and evening.

Basic Photography Session 1
2 Classes on Tuesdays: May 5 & 19,
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Basic Photography Session 2
2 Classes Thursdays: May 14 & 21,
1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.

Each course is designed to allow photographers to obtain the skills they will need to achieve their individual photographic visions. You decide if you are going to take it in the afternoon or evening light.

If you want to end the frustration of under or overexposed images, blurred or off-color photos and scenes that never quite have the impact you were looking for, then this course is for you.

Through hands-on individual instruction, students learn how their camera operates. Defining a good image and consistently capturing that image are the skill sets you will be acquiring.

Understanding composition and lighting along with how your camera works are the keys to good image capture. These elements are explored through both field and classroom sessions. Classes meet once a week for a period of two weeks. Each class will be 2 hours.
All class work will be in the Community Room at the Old Lyme - Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library.
Prerequisites
All you have to bring to class is a desire to have fun and enjoy yourself. No previous photographic expertise is required. All your photographic questions will be answered.

Course Requirements
Students are expected to come prepared to operate their cameras. Camera users guides should be brought to every class for reference purposes in the course of photo taking. All camera memory cards should only have the session images on them and all other pre-class images should be off the card.

Required Materials
Any Single Digital Lens Reflex or Point and Shoot camera and users guide for camera
Class Fee is $50.00.

Registration for each session is required.
