Box Truck Strikes Pedestrian on I-95 in Old Lyme

OLD LYME, CT — State Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a box truck early Saturday on Interstate 95 northbound by Exit 70. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and LifeStar helicopter responded to the scene.

The highway was shutdown but has since reopened. State Police say the box truck continued on after the accident but was later stopped.
