The Old Lyme-Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library will host a BristleBot Challenge workshop in the Community Room from 3:45-4:45PM on Thursday, February 18, 2016. Dust off your lab coat, come to the Library and create your own miniature robot! Teams will visit our Creation Station to gather their materials. Then, they’ll work together to build their BristleBots with our easy instructions. Will yours spin in dizzying circles? Make a straight line? Sign up to find out! Registration is required and all materials will be provided. Visit us at oldlyme.lioninc.org and click on “Children,” then “Programs” or call the Library at (860) 434-1684 to register.
Need a ride? Simply indicate that your child will be taking the afterschool activity bus with the name of their school on our online registration form, then send a note to your child’s homeroom teacher giving them permission to ride the After School Activity Bus (Bus “A” for students from Mile Creek and Bus “C” for students from Lyme Consolidated). An adult will greet children at the corner of Lyme Street and Library Lane and then escort them into the building for the program. Please be advised that the afterschool activity bus will stop at the Library on program days only. Also, in addition to notifying the school, parents are required to call the Library directly at (860) 434-1684 if plans change the day of a program and your child is unable to ride the bus for any reason.
