Hosted by Board President Donna Moore at the breathtaking Sunset Hill Vineyard, this signature summer event brings the heartbeat of the theater straight to the vines, all to support the development of groundbreaking new musical theater and plays.
From 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, guests will enjoy a vibrant atmosphere filled with sangria, delicious small bites, and incredible live performances. We encourage you to bring along your lawn blankets to spread out, relax, and take in the music under the open sky.
In addition to the live entertainment, the evening features an exciting auction and a raffle. Attendees will have the chance to bid on exclusive Broadway tickets, a mixed case of wine from Sunset Hill Vineyard (valued at $500), and an array of other unique items. We will also have a curated raffle basket packed with assorted prizes, ensuring everyone has a chance to take a piece of the magic home.
Every ticket and auction bid directly funds our mission to provide a sanctuary for artists and to uplift diverse, underrepresented voices in the American theatrical landscape. We can’t wait to celebrate, raise a glass, and stage the future of theater together with you!

Lyme Art Association

Experience exhibitions of excellence and distinction this summer at the Lyme Art Association (LAA). From July 24 – September 11, LAA presents three impressive shows in its galleries, its own 105th Elected Artists and Expanding Visions exhibitions, and a guest show, Selected Members Exhibition, from the New Haven Paint &amp; Clay Club.

LAA’s Elected Artists are members, who, after successfully exhibiting in shows for at least 5 years, are elected by their fellow members to join the ranks of Elected Artists. LAA’s annual Elected Artists Show celebrates these cream of the crop artists with an exhibition that showcases their best work for gallery visitors to enjoy. Though known for its representational art, in Expanding Visions, LAA celebrates the various styles that its member artists work in by including everything from hyperrealism to nonrepresentational abstract art, and highlights the unique and innovative perspectives in their work.

Running concurrently is a guest show from the New Haven Paint and Clay Club (NHP&amp;CC), the Selected Members Exhibition. This year’s show was juried by Nathan Lewis, who chose five New Haven Paint &amp; Clay Club artists that exhibited exceptional works in the NHP&amp;CC 2025 Members Exhibit. This year’s selected artists are Ed Lisi, Christopher McLaughlin, David Ottenstein, Greg Shea and Janet Warner.

All shows are on view in LAA’s galleries from July 24 – September 11 with the opening reception occurring on Saturday, August 1 from 5 – 7 pm. 

Founded in 1914 by the American Impressionists, the Lyme Art Association continues&nbsp;the tradition of exhibiting and selling representational artwork, as well as offering art&nbsp;instruction, lectures, and other community programs. It is located at 90 Lyme Street in&nbsp;Old Lyme, CT, in an iconic 1921 building designed by renowned architect Charles Adams&nbsp;Platt and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. McCook Point Park

An exciting, sprint distance race through scenic shoreline communities of Niantic and East Lyme, the Niantic Bay Triathlon is a great race for beginner or experienced triathletes. Swim a 1/2 mile in the calm of Niantic Bay without waves or strong currents. Bike an 11.4 mile loop through the charming community of East Lyme with picturesque views and long straightaways along rolling, shaded roads. Run 3.2 miles along the oceanfront lined with cheering spectators before a spectacular beach finish.
Team Relay registration for 2 or 3 members is an option to enjoy the tri experience with the help of some friends. Additionally, an Aquabike registration is also available for those that do not want to or cannot participate in the run.
