One Dead After Car Goes Into Water In Deep River (UPDATE)
The accident occurred late Saturday afternoon, police said.

DEEP RIVER, CT — One person is dead after a car went into the water in Deep River late Saturday afternoon, Connecticut State Police said.
A car rolled over and partially went into the water in Deep River, according to police. Troopers responded to the crash at Main Street by Winter Avenue around 3:15 p.m. The road was closed in the area but has since reopened.
The lone occupant of the vehicle was taken to Shoreline Medical Center. The person succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
