Car Stolen From East Lyme Driveway, Police Investigate
Police are investigating after a car was stolen and suspects attempted to enter several cars.
EAST LYME, CT — A vehicle was stolen from the driveway of a Shore Drive home overnight Wednesday, according to police. The vehicle was stolen at about 1 a.m.
Police determined that multiple people entered the front and rear porch of another home a short distance away and checked vehicles to determine if they were unlocked. However, their efforts were unsuccessful.
The stolen vehicle was found parked and undamaged in the Waterbury area. East Lyme and Waterbury police are working together on the investigation.
