EAST LYME, CT — 7/12/2022 - Celebrate East Lyme is THIS Saturday, July 16, 2022!!! Please SHARE this important road closure and parking information!

There will be no on street parking permitted on Main Street, Niantic from Lake Avenue to Pennsylvania Avenue starting at 10:00 a.m. this Saturday, July 16th as vendors will be setting up for the big day! This same section of Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic at 12:00 p.m. and will not reopen until 11:00 p.m.

Bring your family and friends and join us as Niantic's Main Street transforms into a spectacular celebration by the sea, filling with food, fun and fabulous activities for everyone in the family!

PARKING
Because this is such a popular event, available spots will fill up quickly. Check with your neighbors, friends and family members and consider carpooling! Public parking is available at the Municipal parking lot on Hope Street, Town Hall on Pennsylvania Avenue, Cini Park on Main Street, Niantic Center School on West Main Street and McCook Park on Atlantic Avenue. PLEASE NOTE: Hole in the Wall parking lot off of Main Street is not blocked off from the public, but if you do not remove your vehicle from the lot by noon, you will be stuck in the lot until after the fireworks!

Handicapped parking will be available on Methodist Street. Police will be checking for handicapped place cards.

Come down early and enjoy our beautiful town! There are plenty of great places to grab breakfast! Great shops to visit, and of course our beautiful beaches & boardwalk! Don’t forget the sand castle competition at 9 a.m. at Hole in the Wall Beach! Vendors will be ready to kick off the annual celebration at 3:00 p.m.!
