Celebrate New Year's Eve Early with the Children's Museum of Southeastern CT in Niantic

The museum is closed New Year's Eve, as all the fun has moved just minutes away.

NIANTIC, CT - The Children's Museum of Southeatern Connecticut invites families to join them this New Year's Eve as they "Countdown to Noon."

Thee event is described as the premier New Year’s Eve event for children and families in southeastern Connecticut, according to a release.

CMSECT partners with East Lyme Parks & Rec to present this celebration at East Lyme Community Center, 41 Society Road. The museum is closed New Year’s Eve, as all the fun has moved just minutes away.

Family fun includes:

  • Exploring the constellations with “StarLab”
  • Build, create, imagine with “Lets Get Building”
  • “Crazy Science” and activities galore

The Rolling Tomato Food Truck will be onsite with wood-fired pizzas for sale. At 10:30, East Lyme Public Library presents Story Hour with the children’s librarians.

Balloons drop at noon, and activities continue until 2 p.m. Advanced registration is $5 per member and $7 per nonmember.

The cost is $7 per member and $9 per nonmember on the day of the event.
