Celebrating 70 Years, Old Lyme Emergency Services Hosts Festival

Celebrating 70 years of service, Old Lyme Emergency Services is hosting a festival Saturday Aug. 3 with entertainment, food and fun.

OLD LYME, CT—Celebrating seven decades of service to its community, Old Lyme Emergency Services is giving itself a birthday party this Saturday and hope the community turns out to celebrate with them.

Old Lyme Ambulance has set up a "mini festival at Cross Lane park to celebrate with family, friends, and neighbors," the volunteer service posted to Facebook. Slated to be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the event is free and open to the public.

Food trucks, musical entertainment and activities including a rock climbing wall, an inflatable slide, and dunk tank are all part of the festivities.

Old Lyme Ambulance says it's providing free beverages but says people should "please feel free to BYOB."
