Cops Search For Suspected Check Thief In East Lyme

EAST LYME, CT — The East Lyme Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspected thief who tried to cash a check stolen from an elderly person, according to the below post on the department's Facebook page.

According to authorities, the suspect tried to cash the check at a Santander Bank. Anyone with information on the incident, or who knows the identity of the suspect, is urged to contact East Lyme police at 860-739-5900.
