CrAfter School: String Painting
Make a completely unique work of art with this cool technique!

The Old Lyme-Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library will hold CrAfter School on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 3:30-4:30PM. We’re switching things up this month with String Painting! We’ll use cotton string to make one-of-a-kind paint creations. Then, take it home, let it set for 24 hours and you’re done. This project has the potential to get messy since we will be using liquid acrylic paint. We will meet in the Community Room. Register online at www.oldlyme.lioninc.org under the “Children’s Program” tab or call the Library 860-434-1684.
This program series will take place on the first Monday of every month through the end of the school year. Join us in making a themed craft the first Monday afternoon of each month through June. Materials will be provided. CrAfter School is best for children in grades three through five, but all are welcome to attend.
This program is free and open to the public. The Library is located at 2 Library Lane, off Lyme Street. Fall hours are Monday and Wednesday, 10 AM to 7 PM; Tuesday and Thursday, 10 AM to 6 PM; Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM, and Saturday, 10 AM to 4 PM. For more information, call 860-434-1684 or visit www.oldlyme.lioninc.org.
