Don't Miss The Face Painting, Hair Design, And Activities At East Lyme Touch-A-Truck

Touch-a-Truck Activities

The Eighth Annual Touch-A-Truck, co-sponsored by the East Lyme Auxiliary of Child and Family Agency and the East Lyme Parks and Recreation Department, will be held on Saturday, May 16th, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at McCook Point Park in Niantic. (Rain date is Sunday, May 17th.). Admission is $4 per person. Children
two and under are admitted free of charge.

Children, you can paint your faces to be an Indian, a Clown, a Pirate, or a Fairy Princess, and then adorn your hair with feathers or beads! There will also be hair painting for the adventurous. Lorna Pray will again be present as the Chairperson of the Face-Painting; Barbara Mingo will return with Hair Beads and Colored Hair Spray Painting.

Karen Peacock and her committee of Susan Ramsey and Donna Murphy will be on hand with the favorite activities of Ring Toss, Bean Bag Toss, Hula Hoops, and Bubbles. There will also be crafts such as magic noodles, and coloring of puzzle trucks and wooden face sticks.
