  • FREE Surgical Masks for residents (provided by the Town of East Lyme – limit 1 per resident while quantities last)
  • Severe Weather Preparedness Information.

The new shipment of KI (Potassium Iodide Tablets) for the Town of East Lyme has arrived! East Lyme Emergency Management will be hosting this “Drive By for KI” event along with our partners at Ledge Light Health District and the Medical Reserve Corps Volunteers.

By picking up your KI at this event, you will be providing an invaluable training opportunity for new volunteers who are training for fall “drive-thru for the flu shot” events and eventually “drive-thru for COVID-19 Vaccine” events, so spread the word!

As the saying goes, “Failing to Prepare is Preparing to Fail”. This year, in addition to KI and mask distribution, East Lyme Emergency Management and CT DESPP/DEMHS will be on site distributing important information that everyone should know about Severe Weather Preparedness.

Our State Emergency Operations Center Weather Expert, Doug Glowacki, who provides us with all of those detailed severe weather warnings that we share with you on our Facebook page, will be helping to spread the word about what you need to know to protect your property and keep your family safe!

We hope to see you there!
