The East Lyme Public Trust Foundation announces a Retrospective interview with Bob DeSanto, The Godfather of the Boardwalk

The East Lyme Public Trust Foundation has recently posted on their web-site an interview with Bob DeSanto, The Godfather of the Boardwalk.

In August, 2021, this interview was conducted with Bob DeSanto, Past President of the East Lyme Public Trust Foundation. The interviewers were June Hoye, Publicity Chair of the Foundation, and Joe Legg, Past President and present Vice-President of the Foundation. The videographer was Jack Mingo, a student at Boston University.

This interview gives an historical look back at what was involved in the creation of the beloved Boardwalk in Niantic, East Lyme. The interview brings to mind this well-known quotation from the Bible:

7”I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
