East Lyme Car Thefts Investigation Leads To Possible Suspects

EAST LYME, CT—Waterford Police noted a "suspiciously parked vehicle" and reached out to East Lyme Police believing the car may have been stolen. Police talked to the owner of the car and were told it had been stolen from their driveway over night in the Dean’s Ridge neighborhood.

Not long after, East Lyme Police got a report from another Dean’s Ridge resident who said their car had also been stolen from their driveway.

Investigation by the East Lyme and Waterford police "developed suspects" and also led officers to the second stolen car found in Bridgeport.

Police are in the process of getting arrest warrants.
