East Lyme Firefighters Put Out Blaze, Garage a Total Loss
Firefighters fought strong winds and flames during an early morning fire.

EAST LYME, CT - Fire officials said a garage and vehicles were a total loss during a blaze in East Lyme on Tuesday morning, The Day reported.
The fire took place at 106 Black Point Road around 7:30 a.m., according to The Day. Officials said they believe the fire was electrical in nature.
No firefighters were injured in the incident, and the tenants in the apartments all got out safely, The Day reported. The garage, a mobile home and three cars were described as “a total loss.”
