East Lyme HS Student Accused Of Making Alleged Threats: Report

The student allegedly made threats at school.

EAST LYME, CT — An 18-year-old East Lyme High School student was arrested Tuesday in connection with alleged "threats of violence" against the school, writes The Day.

John Harrington, of Walnut Hill Road, was charged with second-degree threatening and breach of peace.

He allegedly made threatening comments while at school Tuesday. What he allegedly said was not disclosed. Harrington was held in lieu of bail of $5,000 and was scheduled to appear in New London Superior Court on Wednesday.
