East Lyme Middle Schoolers to Visit China Sister School
They will travel to both Beijing and Xiang Jian Secondary School in Guangzhou.
EAST LYME, CT – Fifteen East Lyme Middle School students will travel to China this fall to meet students they have been collaborating with on research, The Day reported.
The middle schoolers have worked with students in China for close to two years on research projects involving global environmental and energy issues, according to The Day. They will now travel to Xiang Jiang Secondary School in Guangzhou and take cultural classes.
The students’ travels will last from Oct. 27 to Nov. 4, according to The Day. They will first travel to Beijing, where they are scheduled to hike part of the Great Wall.
