East Lyme, Old Lyme Girls in Top 10 of State Soccer Polls

The Vikings have opened the season with a nine-game unbeaten streak, while the Wildcats are 10-1-2 through 13 contests.

THE LYMES, CT — East Lyme and Old Lyme high schools have each earned top 10 rankings in the latest poll of the Connecticut Girls Soccer Coaches Association.

The Vikings opened the 2016 season with eight wins and a tie to claim the number nine spot in Classes LL-L, while the Wildcats' 10-1-2 record ranks them fifth in Classes M-S.

The top rankings and current records through Wednesday, Oct. 5 for Classes LL-L and M-S:
