Missing East Lyme Teen Found: Update

EAST LYME, CT — A Silver Alert has been canceled by East Lyme police for Jordyn Denegre, a 16-year-old East Lyme resident who had been missing but has been found safe.

"She was last seen as a passenger in a 2016 Nissan Altima color black with CT registration AC95513 operated by Victor Hall, on 95 northbound in Waterford at approximately midnight," wrote East Lyme police in a Facebook post. She was initially listed as missing on Dec. 5.

Denegre is described as standing 5 feet, 2 inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes. She weighs about 160 pounds and was last seen wearing black leggings and sneakers.
