East Lyme PD Warns Residents Of Vehicle Burglaries
Several vehicles reportedly were burglarized during the overnight hours, according to authorities.

EAST LYME, CT — Several vehicles were burglarized during the overnight hours of Feb. 20-21 in East Lyme, according to authorities, prompting a warning to keep vehicles locked.
The break-ins were reported in the areas of Ancient Highway, and Wayne and Parker drives. While nothing of value was taken, all of the vehicles had been left unlocked, said East Lyme police.
"At this point I must sound like a broken record but please lock your vehicles, keep valuables out of sight or remove them from your vehicle when its unattended," wrote East Lyme Police Det. Mark Comeau on Nextdoor.com.
