East Lyme Police Investigate Thefts From Public Works Building

Police are investigating after two trailers and a wood chipper were stolen.

EAST LYME, CT —Police are investigating thefts of two trailers and a wood chipper that occurred over the past week from the East Lyme Public Works building.

Photos of a suspect in the crime as well as his truck are posted on the police department's Facebook page.

Police said the truck appears to be a two toned Ford F-250 or F-350, dark colored with either a grey or tan bottom, with damage to the right side of the bed above the rear tire. There is rust below the left rear door and the driver door handle appears to be damaged.

The truck was displaying a license plate in the rear window. The right taillight was not functioning.
