From East Lyme Public Schools — There is a two hour delay for Thursday, January 8, 2014. Morning kindergarten classes are cancelled. All school offices will be open at their regular time.

- Wednesday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 1. Wind chill values between -10 and -15. Blustery, with a northwest wind 15 to 24 mph.
- Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 22. Wind chill values between -5 and -15. Northwest wind 11 to 16 mph.
- Thursday Night: A slight chance of snow showers after 3 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 20. Wind chill values between 5 and 15. Breezy, with a southwest wind 15 to 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
- Friday: A chance of snow showers before 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 36. Wind chill values between 15 and 25. West wind 15 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
