East Lyme Senator Pledges Support For Realtors Working To Improve Housing Market

State Senator Paul Formica recently attended a rally to urge state lawmakers to "give us a Connecticut we can sell."

HARTFORD, CT – State Senator Paul Formica (Republican-East Lyme) joined real estate professionals, state lawmakers and UConn Women’s Basketball Coach Geno Auriemma for a rally Tuesday. The rally took place in Bushnell Park in Hartford.

The Connecticut Association of Realtors hosted the rally to urge state lawmakers to “give us a Connecticut we can sell” as they craft a new two-year budget, according to a release.

Formica commended the thousands in attendance for speaking out for pro-job-growth solutions to Connecticut’s budget problems and working hard every day to help people make Connecticut their home and realize the American dream of home ownership.

State Senator Paul Formica represents the residents of the 20th Senatorial District, which includes Bozrah, East Lyme, a portion of Montville, New London, Old Lyme, a portion of Old Saybrook, Salem, and Waterford. He was elected in 2015 and is currently serving his second term.
