East Lyme wetlands officials will open a hearing Oct. 6 on a six-building, 48-unit Flanders Road development.
EAST LYME, CT — The East Lyme Inland Wetlands Agency is scheduled to open a public hearing Oct. 6 on a proposed six-building, 48-unit residential development on Flanders Road while continuing hearings on a proposed 13-lot subdivision road and a single-family home on Corey Lane.
The Flanders Road application, submitted by property owner 283 BPR LLC, seeks permission to conduct regulated activities at 225 and 235 Flanders Road, Niantic. The proposal calls for demolishing an existing single-family home at 235 Flanders Road and constructing six buildings containing 48 residential units.
The development would also include a paved driveway, parking lot, utility connections and stormwater management improvements. The agency received the application Sept. 1, and the agenda lists Nov. 10 as the deadline for closing the public hearing.
