Elf Academy

It takes someone pretty special to become one of Santa's elves. Come see if you're up to the challenge!

The Old Lyme-Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library will host its first-ever Elf Academy on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 4:00-5:00PM. It takes someone pretty special to become one of Santa’s elves, and we bet you’re up to the challenge! Want to find out? Visit our workstations to complete your training at our first ever Elf Academy. After we’ve completed our missions, we’ll enjoy a special holiday story and maybe even a special guest. Registration is required and all materials will be provided. Hope to see you there!

Need a ride? Simply indicate that your child will be taking the afterschool activity bus with the name of their school on our registration form, then send a note to your child’s homeroom teacher giving them permission to ride the After School Activity Bus (Bus “A” for students from Mile Creek and Bus “C” for students from Lyme Consolidated). An adult will greet children at the corner of Lyme Street and Library Lane and then escort them into the building for the program. Please be advised that the afterschool activity bus will stop at the Library on program days only. Also, in addition to notifying the school, parents are required to call the Library directly at (860) 434-1684 if plans change the day of a program and your child is unable to ride the bus for any reason.
