Eversource Conducting Utility Tests In East Lyme

EAST LYME, CT — If you see crews from utility company Eversource in the area, don't be alarmed. The company is in the midst of conducting "grounding tests of existing structures in selected areas" of East Lyme, according to post on the East Lyme Public Safety Facebook page.

"Maintaining infrastructure is one of the many ways Eversource supports the safe and secure transmission of electricity throughout the region," the company stated.

Crews will be on hand throughout the month from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the right of way of various streets in town and in Waterford.
