Fatal Stabbing Under Investigation In East Lyme: Report

EAST LYME, CT — A woman was killed in a stabbing Monday night in East Lyme, and police are searching for the suspect, writes Fox 61.

The incident, which was reported at about 10:30 p.m., occurred at the Starlight Inn on Flanders Road. The Day reports that authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim.

Police searched the area but the assailant has not yet been found.

A full description of the suspect has not been released, but Fox 61 reports that a man who may have been the assailant was seen leaving the scene. He is described as black with dreadlocks. Additionally, he may have been wearing a hoodie.
