Fire Breaks Out At Niantic Home: Report
A fire was reported at a Niantic home over the weekend.
EAST LYME, CT — A fire damaged a home in Niantic on Saturday, according to The New London Day. No injuries were reported.
The fire at the 20 Bishops Bay Road home was reported at 11:20 a.m. Black smoke could be seen billowing from the two-story home.
Firefighters arrived and found a detached shed next to the house was fully engulfed in flames. The blaze spread to the home, but firefighters were able to contain the fire and limit the damage, according to The New London Day.
