Goats, Chickens Found Beheaded in Nehantic State Forest
Old Lyme Animal Control is cautioning people to keep a watchful eye on their livestock.
If anyone is missing goats or chickens, Old Lyme Animal Control is asking them to call the DEEP at 860-424-3333 or The Lyme Town Hall at 860-434-8092.
“Unfortunately they were found in the Nehantic State Forest in trash bags, beheaded,” Animal Control wrote on Facebool. “Please keep a watch on your livestock and inform your neighbors.”
