Grand Children will Love the Touch A Truck Roaming Raceway

There is no better way to spend a day with your favorite children than to attend the East Lyme Auxiliary Child and Family Agency’s Touch-A-Truck on Saturday, May 20, 2017, from 9 am to 2pm at McCook Point Park in Niantic. Children will have fun exploring the many trucks, eating lunch and snacks under the tent, having their faces painted, and decorating their hair with beads and feathers.

One of the events this year that you won’t want to miss will be the ROAMING RACEWAY! This model car race track allows participants to race around a colorful professional slot car race track, controlling the speed of their car by pressing a trigger on a plastic, hand-held controller. This is an ideal, exciting racing experience for kids, adults, or the entire family! The Raceway is housed on a small trailer where 8 children at a time can participate in the 20 lap race. There are no losers; every child gets a medal for participating. The donation to TAT is $4 per person. Children age two and under are admitted free of charge. Proceeds benefit the work of Child & Family Agency of Southeastern CT.
