Hate Group Banners Displayed On Overpasses In Norwich, East Lyme
Banners from the white supremacist group Patriot Front were hung on highway overpasses in Norwich and East Lyme over the weekend.

EAST LYME, CT — Banners displaying messages from a white supremacist group were hung from highway overpasses in Norwich and East Lyme on Sunday, according to The Day.
The banners belonged to the group Patriot Front. The Anti-Defamation League said the group "has been responsible for the vast majority of white supremacist propaganda distributed in the United States."
A banner with the message “Life Liberty Victory” was displayed on I-95 near Exit 73, The Day reported. It was removed shortly thereafter.

The East Lyme Democratic Committee wrote about the incident on Facebook: "Today in East Lyme a white supremacist group displayed a banner along I-95. We as the East Lyme Democrats reject their attempt to sow hatred in our community. Hate has no home in East Lyme."
Earlier this year, Patriot Front propaganda stickers were removed from street signs in Westport.
