High school sports players are a top priority for local Chiropractor.

9/30/2013, -- Working with East Lyme and Griswold football youth leagues, Dr. Tyler Page, Doctor of Chiropractic and Strength and Conditioning Specialist, is assisting with a program to reaffirm a player’s readiness to get back to playing after a concussion.

There are two programs that Dr. Page incorporates for baseline score of concussion treatment and to screen athletes for all potential injuries.  In these evaluations he relies on the OptoJump system which offers a complete picture of where the athlete is post-concussion.

The other is the ImPact test that determines when a player can return after a concussion.

Footballs being a physical contact sport, these tests are imperative to keeping players safe.

There is no fee for the initial assessment to the schools or the youth programs.  The safety of the players is a top priority for Dr. Page.
