How Many East Lyme Residents Received Coronavirus Vaccine?
State health officials released data for the first time which shows how many residents in each town have been vaccinated for COVID-19.
EAST LYME, CT — According to the state Department of Public Health, a total of 2,292 East Lyme residents have received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
There are 18,462 East Lyme residents and 12 percent of them have received their first dose. East Lyme has 1,488 residents over the age of 75 and 1,032 of them have received their first dose or 69 percent, according to state health officials.
Since the pandemic began in March, East Lyme has reported 1,069 cases and 44 deaths.
