IDs Released For 2 People Found Dead In Niantic Home
Police have also released the cause of death for both people who were found dead in a Niantic home last week.
EAST LYME, CT — Police have identified two people who were found dead in a Billow Road home.
Police conducted a well-being check Friday at 3:30 p.m. after a neighbor expressed concerns that the residents at 48 Billow Road could not be seen or contacted.
Officers arrived at the home and found two people dead inside.

Police obtained a search warrant for the home, then collected evidence.
The two dead people were taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for post-mortem examinations.

One of those deceased was Lorraine Decarli, 77, of Niantic. The chief medical examiner determined the cause of manner of death to be homicide by gunshot.
The other was Frank Cirioni, 76, of Niantic. The chief medical examiner determined the cause of manner of death to be suicide by gunshot.
The investigation remains ongoing.
